Embrace – Love Is A Basic Need (Orchestral) Out Now!

“All The Remains is a classic Embrace cut that’s good enough to sit alongside anything from their debut.” Music OMH
“Ambitious ballads and lovelorn lyrics” The Sun

Embrace released an orchestral version of their new album LOVE IS A BASIC NEED. The new album includes the orchestral versions of ‘All That Remains’, ‘Love Is A Basic Need’, ‘The Finish Line’, ‘The Wake Up Call’ and ‘Never’ and more.

The album is available on CD, LP, Cassete, Download and to Stream. There will also be limited edition colour vinyl, signed versions of the record and album bundles including art prints available.

Danny says; This is the first time we’ve done a full Orchestral album. We’ve done Orchestral versions of songs in the past and we always get asked about it. For ‘Love Is A Basic Need’ we decided to take the plunge. Mickey Dale is a really incredible string arranger and I think this album showcases the songs in a whole new light.

The tracklisting for LOVE IS A BASIC NEED (Orchestral) is as follows:

1. The Finish Line (Orchestral Version)
2. Never (Orchestral Version)
3. Wake Up Call (Orchestral Version)
4. Snake Oil (Orchestral Version)
5. Where You Sleeping (Orchestral Version)
6. All That Remains (Orchestral Version)
7. Rabbit Hole (Orchestral Version)
8. Horseshoe In My Glove (Orchestral Version)

10. Love Is A Basic Need (Orchestral Version)

New single ‘All That Remains’ is an emotive and powerful ballad that builds to a euphoric chorus. It is a track that is classically Embrace and follows recent release Radio 2 playlisted single Never, a duet between Danny McNamara and Kerri Watt.

20 years into their recording career, Embrace made an emphatic return this year with their seventh studio album charting at #5, giving the band their seventh Top 10 album and fifth Top 5 record. Hailed as a return to “classic” Embrace, LOVE IS A BASIC NEED was recorded in the first half of 2017 at the band’s own Magnetic North Studio, produced by Richard McNamara.

Following recent stadium support dates with Coldplay plus establishing and performing at their own award-winning secret festival, the band recently performed a short run of intimate shows, where they previewed songs from the album. Their headline tour of the UK begins this week and full live dates are as follows:
