Dave Rowntree announces upcoming album 'Radio Songs'

Legendary Blur drummer Dave Rowntree, has announced his upcoming album ‘Radio Songs’ which is set to be released in January 2023. ‘Radio Songs’ will be available on Vinyl, CD and Digital Formats.

In the last few months he has released two tracks, one being ‘London Bridge’ and the other being ‘Devil’s Island’ which was released on the 26th of September.

When asked what the track meant to him, Dave told the press “I grew up in the UK in the 1970s and while there were definitely good points about the decade, I also remember how toxic it could be… listening to some people, you’d think it was a golden age to which we should yearn to return. This song is a note to self, to remind me how far we’ve come in forty years”.
